DUNKAROOS animation cel kit

The Dunkaroos Animation Cell Kit was just that- a premium that included everything one needed to make their own animation cel. To be distributed via mail, the kit consisted of a frame with a full color background image of Sydney harbor printed on it, an animation “cel” with a pre”inked” image of Dunkaroo’s mascot, Sydney printed on it, nontoxic “cel” paint in little buckets ( similar to those used for paint-by number kits), a paint brush and a coloring guide.

Above, you see my prototype of the completed cel as used to send to the client. Prototyping was a big part of my job when designing cereal premiums- and quite frankly probably the most fun. I enjoy coming up with an idea and trying to make it work.
