Smithsonian: Airplanes
In crafting the art for Smithsonian: Airplanes, my creative process is meticulously curated, beginning with an immersive research phase in collaboration with the esteemed experts at the Smithsonian. This in-depth exploration ensures an authentic representation of historical aircraft. Subsequently, I translate my insights into a series of thumbnail roughs, each possessing a level of detail and precision that enables the client to make a selection. Once the preferred concept is chosen, I refine it into a tight final rough, seeking approval before embarking on the digital inking phase. This final rough not only serves as a visual guide for the intricate detailing of the piece but also as a testament to the collaborative and thorough approach that characterizes my artistic process.
